Vitamin C Toddler Smoothie

Sharing is caring!

Looking for an easy and delicious Vitamin C toddler smoothie?  Here is a pineapple-mango toddler and kid smoothie that is so simple to make and tastes good!

This Vitamin C toddler smoothie is healthy and easy to make.

Vitamin C  is a nutrient for overall health as well as being good for the immune system, and this smoothie is a great way to get that vitamin!

My kids all love smoothies and it’s an easy way to get in extra nutrients.  Does your child like smoothies, too?

Lately I’ve been buying a lot of frozen fruit and smoothies are perfect for frozen fruit.  Frozen fruit is sometimes more cost-efficient and lasts longer than fresh fruit, and it also gives a nice texture in smoothies.

Toddler Smoothie

Ingredients for this easy Vitamin C toddler smoothie:

  • 2 small peeled tangelos or another type such as mandarins OR 1 large orange
  • 1/2 cup mango (frozen or fresh)
  • 1/2 cup pineapple (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (I use virgin or unrefined)
  • 1 heaping spoonful of whole milk vanilla yogurt (I used vanilla but plain would work or any other kind you have)
  • Dash of ground turmeric
  • Add a little bit of filtered water if it’s too thick, starting with a tablespoon at a time.

Add all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth.  This makes one smoothie or two small toddler smoothies.

Pineapple Mango Toddler Smoothie

This pineapple-mango smoothie takes minutes to whip up!  And it’s full of nutrient-dense foods.

Pineapple is full of vitamin C, antioxidants, B vitamins, fiber, manganese, and more!

Mango is high in fiber and a good source of Vitamin C and A.

Tangelos are high in Vitamin C, antioxidants,  and help to alkalize the body.  Coconut oil contains healthy fat and turmeric has antioxidants (and so much more!).  I usually put turmeric in my smoothies so I started adding it to my kids’ smoothies.  I do just a sprinkle so it doesn’t affect the flavor.

You can also freeze this smoothie into popsicle trays and make popsicles for an easy treat.

Other fruits (fresh or frozen) high in Vitamin C you could use as substitutes for this smoothie:

  • Strawberries
  • Papaya
  • Kiwi
  • Blackberries
  • Guava

Will you make this Vitamin C Toddler smoothie anytime soon?
