This pumpkin smoothie recipe is nutritious and a perfect sweet treat for toddlers and kids (and adults, too!).
I had leftover canned pumpkin puree from when I made some pumpkin muffins, so I decided to make a smoothie for my kids with it.
If you don’t have canned pumpkin, steamed pumpkin (from frozen) will work, too.
This smoothie tastes like a healthier version of pumpkin pie!
And it takes only a few minutes to make.

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. I like to use my Nutribullet or Magic Bullet for smoothies like this – it’s easy cleanup and you can drink it from the cup it blends in.
If you’re not using a frozen banana then add a few ice cubes. This makes one smoothie or two small toddler smoothies.
This is a good smoothie recipe for toddlers, kids, and adults! It’s perfect for fall or anytime of the year.
Pumpkin is high in Vitamin A, a good source of Vitamin C and antioxidants. It’s also high in fiber so it will keep you fuller longer.
Bananas are full of fiber, potassium, and are a good prebiotic (good for digestive health).
Yogurt has probiotics and gives this smoothie a creamy texture.
I like to use plain yogurt with no added sugar. If I use vanilla yogurt I try to find yogurt lower in sugar. For my twin toddlers I always try to use whole milk yogurt. But use what you have and is available to you!
I hope you enjoy this pumpkin smoothie!
