This penny and trucks STEM activity was just kind of stumbled upon by my twins.  I gave them a bunch of coins to play with (and supervised them very closely) and they just started stacking and balancing them.

We added trucks into the mix and it was a hit!  It’s now a regular go-to activity for my toddlers.

With this activity, your child will be learning so much, while having fun playing in this easy educational activity!

Make sure to supervise your child closely with this activity in case they try to put the coins in their mouth.

If your child is still putting a lot of things in their mouths, I would wait until they are a little older to try this activity with them.  My twins are 2 1/2.

My twins know that the rule for playing with coins is that they don’t go in their mouth!  And I watch them very closely and sit with them when the coins are out.
