Sharing is caring!
I think breakfast is so important for everybody, not just toddlers. It really does give us the energy we need. That’s why I love these easy toddler breakfast ideas. I need things that my boys will eat and that I can make in a hurry.
Lately, my boys haven’t been big breakfast eaters. They seem to want brunch, instead of breakfast.
So I’ve been trying to make breakfast a little more fun and offering it just a little bit later than I normally would. That way they want to eat what is on the plate!
All kids go through their phases of how much they will eat. Usually, I start with a smaller amount of food on the plate and always add more if they are still hungry. This way they eat everything on the plate and not pick and choose what they want. Otherwise, they probably would just fill up with blueberries for breakfast. Which they do that sometimes.
All of these breakfast ideas were so simple to make and didn’t take much time at all!

The scrambled eggs took the longest, but everything else was quick. Breakfast can be quick and easy with a lot of different options.
I try to use what I have for the week. For example, I tried to use my fresh strawberries and yogurt for several meals for breakfast because that’s what we had. I tried to just switch up the meals so they were eating it in a different way, but we could also use up what we had.
My boys definitely liked the frozen yogurt popsicle the best out of all of these. It was a fun way to eat breakfast! Just make sure to make it the night before so it can freeze.
You can always add in a smoothie for your toddler to add in some extra nutrition and make the meal even more filling. We love this avocado and mango smoothie.
I always offer some milk or sometimes water with breakfast.
