Sharing is caring!
Do you have dandelions everywhere in your yard? We have so many right now so I decided to make this dandelion sensory play activity for my toddler twins.
If your toddler loves picking flowers, then they can also help set this activity up! My boys love picking flowers for me so this was a perfect activity for us.
This activity takes about 5 minutes to set up and kept my boys playing for at least 30 minutes!
I left this sensory bin out for the day and they kept coming back to it.
Some of our other favorite nature sensory bins are this leaf sensory bin and wild rose sensory bin.
My twins mashed the flowers, scooped the flowers, and stirred the flowers for their “soup.”

We did this dandelion sensory bin outdoors but you can easily bring it indoors. Just place a towel underneath.
A week after my twins picked a lot of the dandelions, most of them grew back and now we have even more! So we will definitely be doing this sensory play activity again!
I hope your child enjoys this simple and engaging sensory bin with dandelions!
