Easter Sensory Bins For Toddlers

Sharing is caring!

Looking for easy and simple Easter sensory bins for toddlers?

These Easter sensory bins for toddlers are simple to set up, and kept my 2 year olds having so much fun!

For all of these Easter sensory bins I just used plastic eggs from the dollar store.

All of these sensory bins took minutes to set up.  They are all low-prep and were very engaging for my toddlers.  Sensory play offers so many wonderful benefits to toddlers and kids such as motor skills, language development, making nerve connections in the brain, problem-solving, and more!

Here’s a list easy Easter sensory bins for toddlers:

Bubbles and Easter Eggs Sensory Bin

Easter Sensory Bin

  • Just fill a shallow storage tub with some water and add in bubble bath or dish soap.  I like to use tear-free bubble bath for this in case it gets in my toddlers’ eyes.
  • I added in pans, whisks, ladles and a bunch of plastic Easter eggs.
  • We did this outside since I knew water would get everywhere and it was a nice day, but you could do this inside and put a towel underneath.  I filled the tub up with warm water since from the kitchen sink.

Rice and Easter Eggs Sensory Bin

Easter Activities for Toddlers

  • Green dyed rice and plastic Easter eggs, spoons, and cups.
  • To dye the rice add in 1 teaspoon white vinegar, food coloring (I did about 3 drops per cup of rice) to 1 cup uncooked rice in a ziplock bag or container.
  • Shake until color is evenly distributed to the rice.  Lay the rice on a baking sheet until dry (about an hour).
  • I made 8 cups of rice for this sensory bin.  You can store it in a container or ziplock bag for another time.  You could also just do rice (beans and lentils work well also) and not dye it to make it even easier.
