Tips for Making Toddler Snacks:

I usually try to buy produce for my toddlers that’s in season.  It’s usually cheaper that way and we also end up eating a variety of food throughout the year.

Cucumbers and raspberries were things we ate a lot of because they were in season.

I used this container for their snacks.  I even use it for lunches sometimes, too.  It’s just big enough and cleans easily.

I don’t always pack three things for a snack, sometimes just one or two things.

Sometimes my twins eat a lot or only pick one thing to eat out of all the food that’s offered.  But I always offer a variety just so they become exposed to more foods.

For a younger toddler, chop foods small and remove any skin on produce.  Always chop food up smaller if you are unsure.  My toddlers are 2 1/2 and chewing solids well and are closely supervised while eating.
