Toddler Snack Ideas for the Week

Sharing is caring!

Do you need some inspiration for toddler snack ideas for the week?

These are the snacks that my twin boys ate this week. I try to not include too many processed foods into their diets.  I like feeding them real, whole foods whenever I can.  Many of the toddler snack ideas for the week in this post include healthy foods with minimal sugar.

I really try to keep refined sugar and processed food to a minimum with my twins.  But I also have to be realistic about what they eat since I don’t have a lot of time to spend prepping food.

I always try to offer fruit and/or veggies with every snack and meal.  Even if they don’t eat it, they still have it offered.  It’s a great way to help kids love their veggies.

Here are the Toddler Snack Ideas for the Week that my twins ate and absolutely loved!

  • Sliced Cucumbers
  • Green Chickpea Hummus
  • Carrot and Mango Juice Popsicle
    • I use this juicer for all of my juicing.  It’s a slow juicer and great for juicing leafy greens and other vegetables for maximum nutrient extraction.  I’ve had it for over five years and still works great!  Store-bought juice (with no added sugar) works well for this, too!  These popsicle molds I use are only 1 oz. so it’s not much sugar from the fruit I juiced for them. It’s such a refreshing snack for the summer and great for teething toddlers and babies!

To make my toddler snacks quick and easy, I try to make things which I don’t have to cook or spend too much time preparing.

I do like to offer new foods often.  I had no idea my twins would love seaweed as much as they did.  They ate a whole pack themselves.  Seaweed is full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, good for your gut, and so much more! They remind me of chips with their texture and taste but are so much healthier.  So I don’t mind if they eat a whole pack!

Always supervise your child while eating, and slice foods up small.
