Proof Santa Is Real

Sharing is caring!

Here are easy and simple ideas for proof that Santa is real!

These ideas I have listed for proof Santa is real are fun, easy, and exciting for kids!

To keep a Christmas feeling in our home and make memories we do these family Christmas Traditions every year.

However, I also love surprising my kids with proof from Santa Claus as well.

Even though my 11-year-old doesn’t believe in Santa Claus anymore (lots of ideas on Pinterest on what to say to kids when they stop believing), we still do these traditions with him.  And of course, we will be starting these traditions with our 3-year-old twins this year.

It’s important for me to keep the magic of Christmas around in my house – and that’s what these Santa proof ideas are all about!

Here are some simple and easy ideas for proof that Santa is real that you can start doing this year!

#1 Cookie crumbs are left on Santa’s cookie plate in the morning- and he drank all the milk!

  • Make sure to leave out milk and cookies.  I usually make cookies with my kids and they love decorating them for Santa!  Leave a plate out near the Christmas tree with a cup of milk.

#2 Santa leaves a note to your child thanking him for the milk and cookies and saying something special about them.

  • My kids always write a note to Santa on Christmas Eve.  Sometimes it just says “Here’s your milk and cookies,” and sometimes it’s a little more elaborate.   For the toddlers, I write down what they want to say to him.

#3 Get greetings from the north pole with USPS

  • I am going to be doing this one this year for the first time!  Details are on the link.  Basically, your child writes a letter to Santa and gets a response.

#4 Santa accidentally leaves his hat next to the milk and cookies!

#5 Santa left footprints.

  • There are kits you can buy for these, or baking soda works well – and will clean your carpet!  Just sprinkle some baking soda around the fireplace or tree and it looks like snow (for little kids anyway!).

#6 Carrot crumbs from the reindeer.

  • Leave out carrots for the reindeer on the porch and have crumbs leftover the next morning for the kids to see.  Here’s a kit to leave reindeer footprints

#7 A picture of Santa in your house.

  • Capture The Magic or Catch a Character.  These are both apps you can install on your phone or tablet that will capture a picture of Santa – definitely proof he was in your house!

#8 Use the Santa Tracker

  • We check where Santa is located at any given time in the world on Christmas Eve.  They also have other fun Christmas things to do on that site before Christmas Eve.

#9 The Portable North Pole

  • Get a personalized message from Santa!  I do this every year with my kids and they love it!  It’s quick and easy and the kids love watching the video.

#10 A personalized call from Santa

  • Have Santa call your phone and your child can hear his voice!

Do you do anything to show proof that Santa is real and came to your house?  Did I miss something!?
