Toddler and Kid Fruit Infused Water

Sharing is caring!

Want a fun way to drink water this summer that is also so healthy and delicious?  Then you should try this Toddler and Kid Fruit Infused water!

I’ve been drinking a lot of fruit infused water this summer.  Mostly just lemon and lime (it’s so good!).  That’s what inspired me to make some Toddler and Kid Fruit Infused Water.

My twin toddlers always want to have what I’m having.  The other day they were so eager to try my lime water and liked the idea that there was lime in it!  I let them try it but they did make a bit of a sour face afterwards.

That’s when I decided to make some fruit infused water that they might actually like.  They loved these drinks and were so excited to try them!

Do you want an easy way and simple way to make something healthy and fun for your toddler? These drinks are so simple to make.  They literally took me minutes to put together.

I’m sure your child will love this Toddler and Kid Fruit Infused Water!

These drinks are great for a hot day or any day!

How to Make the Toddler and Kid Fruit Infused Water:

It couldn’t be any easier making this water.  All you need is some chopped up fruit and water.  I used frozen fruit and sliced it.  I let it thaw for about 5 minutes so it wasn’t too hard.  Just make sure it’s small enough and thawed if frozen so it doesn’t pose a choking hazard or put a lid on the drink.

Put a few pieces of chopped up fruit in a cup and add water (you could add ice, too).

The longer the water sits with the fruit, the more flavor it will have.  You could put it in the refrigerator for a while to let the fruit infuse the water.  My twins wanted to drink these right away though!

These drinks are also healthy!

This is a great alternative to store-bought juice drinks – which usually have added sugar and cost a lot more!  I use leftover fruit we already have for these drinks.

Kiwi’s are full of antioxidants, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, and Vitamin A.

Strawberries are also rich in antioxidants and full of Vitamin C and manganese.

I also made a berry mix and mango flavored water.  These were both from frozen fruit.

Mangos are full of antioxidants and full of Vitiman C and A as well as many other nutrients.

Berries are also packed with antioxidants and many other great nutrients and vitamins.  My kids ate the fruit afterwards so they got the added fiber!

This was such a fun and easy drink to make for my twins.  They really enjoyed these and had fun drinking them.  You can use fun straws or cups to make it even more appealing, but really these were just good on their own.

I hope your child will enjoy this fun spin on drinking water – that also adds some extra nutrition!  I’m sure you will even enjoy these fruit-infused waters!  It’s so refreshing on a hot day.
