When the weather gets nice out it seems like the only thing my 2-year-olds want to do is play outside – with water.  Does your child love to play with water, too?

I didn’t want to fill our kiddie pool up and get the twins completely drenched that morning.

So instead I filled up a clear tub for my toddlers.  Filling a tub is a lot quicker and easier overall than to bring out the big kiddie pool.  I like to use a tub that is shallow for any water activities.

They immediately started filling the tub with all of their little toys.  First, they had to put all of their blocks in.  Then they just grabbed a tub with a mixture of little toys and dumped it in the water.

This is such a simple activity that requires no-prep!  If you have a little one who likes water then I suggest trying this sensory bin with toys and water.

• Fill With Water (we filled our tub 2-3 inches with water)

• Add in small toys (that can get wet- we didn’t do any with batteries)
